Global Batteries SA is a business in the Automotive industry that supplies batteries for, Automotive vehicles, Trucks, Solar and deep cycle batteries. We are not limited to these products.

 

Delivery:

Global Batteries SA only delivers in a 12km Radius from our store. You can pay online and collect in store or we can courier you battery to you at an additional charge. Because batteries come in different sizes, shapes and weight we cannot give you an estimate of courier costs, once the order has been made we can create a quote on courier fees based on your location and size of the battery itself. These products are only available for purchase in South - Africa.

Returns and Refund Policy:

1) You have 7 calendar days to return an item from the date you received it.

2) To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it.

3) If the product is too small or too big for your application, you will be liable to pay the difference in price, if the item is cheaper we will refund an agreed amount
via EFT into your bank account.

4) Your item needs to have the receipt or proof of purchase.

5) Once we receive your item, we will inspect it and notify you that we have received your returned
item. We will immediately notify you on the status of your refund after inspecting the item.

6) If your return is approved, we will initiate a refund to your bank account VIA EFT ONLY.

8) You will receive the credit within a certain amount of days, depending on the bank you bank with.

9) You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are nonrefundable.

10) If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

11) The provision of goods and services by Global Batteries SA is subject to availability. In cases of unavailability, Global Batteries SA will refund the client in full within 30 days. Cancellation of orders by the client will attract a 15% administration fee.

Customer Privacy:

Global Batteries SA shall take all reasonable steps to protect the personal information of users. For the purpose of this clause, "personal information" shall be defined as detailed in the Promotion of Access to Information Act 2 of 2000 (PAIA). Payment options accepted

Payment may be made via Visa or MasterCard,  or by bank transfer into the Global Batteries SA bank account, the details of which will be provided on request.

Card acquiring and security

Card transactions will be acquired for Global Batteries SA via PayGate (Pty) Ltd who are the approved payment gateway for all South African Acquiring Banks. DPO PayGate uses the strictest form of encryption, namely Secure Socket Layer 3 (SSL3) and no Card details are stored on the website. Users may go to www.paygate.co.za to view their security certificate and security policy.

Customer details separate from card details

Customer details will be stored by Global Batteries SA separately from card details which are entered by the client on DPO PayGate’s secure site. For more detail on DPO PayGate refer to www.paygate.co.za.

Merchant Outlet country and transaction currency

The merchant outlet country at the time of presenting payment options to the cardholder is South Africa. Transaction currency is South African Rand (ZAR)

Responsibility

Global Batteries SA takes responsibility for all aspects relating to the transaction including sale of goods and services sold on this website, customer service and support, dispute resolution and delivery of goods.

Country of domicile

This website is governed by the laws of South Africa and Global Batteries SA chooses as it's domicilium citandi et executandi for all purposes under this agreement, whether in respect of court process, notice, or other documents or communication of whatsoever nature.

Variation

Global Batteries SA may, in its sole discretion, change this agreement or any part thereof at any time without notice.
