The batteries are charged at a current equivalent to 0.1 times the capacity expressed in Ampere hours (Ah) for a maximum of 15 hours (12 - 13 hours would normally be enough with a constant current charger, but 15 hours may be necessary with a taper charger.)

The duration of the recharge will depend on the extent of the discharge that the battery has experienced, as an example the 60 Ah type RR1 battery that has been utilized for 3 hours for lighting a 100W lamp would have consumed 24.9 Ah and therefore must be charged at 5 Ampere for approximately 6 hours.

Returns Policy

Returns: 1) You have 7 calendar days to return an item from the date you received it. 2) To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. 3) If the product is too small or too big for your application, you will be liable to pay the difference in price, if the item is cheaper we will refund an agreed amount via EFT into your bank account. 4) Your item needs to have the receipt or proof of purchase. 5) Once we receive your item, we will inspect it and notify you that we have received your returned item. We will immediately notify you on the status of your refund after inspecting the item. 6) If your return is approved, we will initiate a refund to your bank account VIA EFT ONLY. 8) You will receive the credit within a certain amount of days, depending on the bank you bank with. 9) You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are nonrefundable. 10) If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

To create an even better shopping experience for our customers we also offer a delivery service through "Fastway Courriers" https://www.fastway.co.za/ All of the parcels we send have been wrapped and packaged by their specifications to ensure that our products are not damaged during transit. Shipping Fees Shipping rates are calculated by weight, on orders where the batteries weigh less that 28kg we charge a nationwide fee of R99 per item unless otherwise stated; on orders where the batteries weigh more that 28kg we reserve the right to quote on delivery, should it be more than the advertised price of R99.; The customer can either choose to pay the deffirence in courrier fees or Global Batteries can refund the order VIA EFT. When do I get my Order? Most of orders are shipped within two business days. Orders placed over the weekend are dispatched on Mondays. If you live within a 15km radius from our store you can expect same day delivery if the order is placed before 4pm on a week day. If you live in any major city in you can expect deliver within 1 - 2 business days. If you live in a rural area or far from a big city you can expect delivery within 3 - 5 business days. I didn't receive my battery, what now? A parcel is considered lost after it has been in the postal system for a period of 15 business days. We cannot take responsibility for delays caused by the courier. Although orders normally take much less than that we are unable to dispatch a replacement until this period of time has elapsed. WRONG OR INCOMPLETE ADDRESS: If your package is returned to us due to an incorrect or incomplete address, you must pay all delivery cost to re-deliver your order to a corrected address. We are not responsible for the loss of your order if the address provided at checkout is incomplete or incorrect. Please also see our refund policy.
